Anime Spotlight - Cheer Boys!!

Story

Break apart your limits and your common sense!

There is one sport in the world where you can be the main character by cheering for others--.

"Cheer Boys!!" is a cute story of college boys that have a bit of a special circumstance but devote their adolescence to cheerleading.
Disheartened with judo, Haruki Bando was invited by his childhood friend Kazuma Hashimoto to create "BREAKERS", an unprecedented boys' cheerleading team.
Those that came to join all were very characteristic in nature: argumentative Mizoguchi, voracious Ton, frivolous Kansai boys Gen and Ichiro, and Sho who has cheerleading experience.
A new challenge of boys who have a "desire to break apart" begins..!

Characters

BREAKERS
Haruki Bando (HARU): Yūki Yonai

College freshman. Born in a family who all play judo, but he felt he reached his limit and quit judo. Joins the boys' cheerleading team after being invited by Kazuma. Very shy.
Kazuma Hashimoto (KAZU): Nobuhiko Okamoto

Haru's childhood friend and good supporter.
Creates the boys' cheerleading team as both parents who have already passed away had been cheerleaders.
Sho Tokugawa (SHO): Yuki Ono

A boy with cheerleading experience that emits an aura of a a handsome guy. Very critical of the newly formed boys' cheerleading team.
His fashion sense concerning street clothes is absolutely terrible.
Wataru Mizoguchi (MIZOGUCHI): Tomokazu Sugita

The son of a restaurant.
As one can see, his body is stiff and he has no sense of rhythm.
Often quotes great people of the past.
Koji Tono (TON): Yu Hayashi

Weighing 100kg and never done any sports. Joins the boys' cheerleading team because he wanted to change himself.
His nickname is Ton.
Soichiro Suzuki (ICHIRO): Kōsuke Kuwano

Noticeable Kansai regional accent.
Played only baseball through high school, and has outstandingly high athletic skills.
His nickname is Ichiro.
Gen Hasegawa (GEN): Katsuyuki Konishi

Originally from the Kansai region like Ichiro.
The two of them usually joke around together, but he can do backflips with ease.

SPARKS
Jin Domoto (DOMOTO): Hiroki Yasumoto

The captain of "SPARKS", the strongest co-ed cheerleading team in the nation. Has a strong sense of responsibility for cheerleading, and knows of Sho's past.
Kaoru Hanasaki (HANASAKI): Yoshitaka Yamaya

A rookie and teammate of Domoto in the powerhouse team "SPARKS". Is full of pride, and is very negative about an all-boys cheerleading team.
