Introduction
Libra of Nil Admirari is the hit game published by otome game-maker Otomate in April 2016. It has sold over 25 thousand copies since its release, and was ranked #4 on the sales chart of best-selling otome games of 2016 (source: Comshop). This romance visual novel follows the basics of its genre, while also adding more elements for a refined adult audience.
This mature scenario is thanks to Yuma Katagiri, who wrote the game's highly-acclaimed story. With Katagiri's story and illustrator Satoi's delicate, beautiful art, this game has become a beloved work. The voice cast is also filled with some of Japan's most popular voice actors.
Story
This story takes place in the 25th year of the Taisho era in Japan's capital city: Tokyo.
Noblewoman Tsugumi Kuze has decided to marry in order to protect her family, which is on the verge of ruin. However, before she is able to do so, her younger brother Hitaki is caught up in an incident involving books called "Maremono" (Rare Objects) that affect the reader of the tome greatly.
It's thanks to this incident that Tsugumi becomes able to see "Aura," the will that exists within Maremono, but gaining this new ability throws her into a panic. Suddenly, a person in charge of the "Imperial Library Information Asset Administration Office," (also known as "Owl") which has the mission of protecting and managing Maremono. He requests that she use her newfound power to help with their search.
