I am very happy to see PreCure so high up!
Tearmoon Empire deserves better, and Yuzuki ought to have made the list. I would guess only shows getting the daily streaming reviews are listed but at least one show that isn’t daily streaming is on there. |

Lol, people really hate Yuri. I don't think we'll see much more of him this season of Spy x Family, so scores should rebound. Especially once we hit the big story arc.

There are 42 series being charted and only 26 series getting Daily Streaming reviews. And Pluto and Zom 100 aren't on the chart yet, so that's 18 non-reviewed shows charting. 33 shows in the preview guide didn't make the cut, plus Dark Gathering, Rurouni Kenshin, and Helck, so I'm not sure how it was decided which ones they'd track on the charts. Non-DS shows I see on the chart:

ANN writers have said before that there's a minimum number of votes for shows to show up here. those 18 must've missed the cutoff for vote numbers.

I didn't even notice that one was on there. Like Tearmoon I think its placement is unfair; it's a sweet show. |

Ah, yeah, looking at those two lists again, the second is definitely more the "undercard" list. Most of the ones with decent-sized followings are on the first, including the ones that were popular enough to get Daily Streaming reviews last time. |

Or at least two of the top three, anyway. I could see The Apothecary Diaries occasionally sneaking into the top two, as it will have some pretty strong content as well. But yeah, this is one of the rare seasons where the top three in the cumulative list exactly track with my personal top three for the season. And they all fully deserve to be there. |

I thought it was another isekai, since that name totally sounds like one about an apothecary who gets reincarnated and blah-blah-blah, gonna watch it then. |

Nope, it's a straight Chinese Imperial-influenced period piece. (And not even a supernatural one, like The Raven of the Inner Palace or, to a lesser extent, The Story of Saiunkoku.) It features a good mix of mystery, humor, and period/setting detail, and can be a little dirty-minded at times, but not in a fan servicey way. I highly recommend it. |
