Finally, thank goodness. Hail Zeon!

Jokes aside, it is a shame to see it go. I suppose the more cynical out there could call it shameless promotion of a media property, but ultimately it was a truly unique piece of art/engineering. I showed it to my dad who doesn't give a crap about Gundam (or pretty much any anime) when it was first built and he thought it was amazing. Because it is (or was, I guess), and I hope we can see more amazing things like it in the future all over the world besides just Japan.

I suppose what I'm saying here is... c'mon boys, get rid of that lame ol' Statue of Liberty over here in the U.S. and get to work on our life-size Gundam Maxter! We have to be ready for the Gundam Fights! Very Happy

Still sad I'll never get to see it in person. I do have it saved in my postcard book in Pokémon Go, though. One of my favorite postcards I've gotten from a gift in that game.

Thanks to all the extensions to keep it open I was finally able to see it this past fall and it was amazing. It's unfortunate that they couldn't keep it even longer so more people could experience it.
Later on during my stay I was in Odaiba and passed by the gundam there (not the first time for that one) and it really isn't the same any more as it just can't compare.

I hope they can bring it back or make something even more incredible in the future so that even more people can get to visit and see fiction brought to life Smile
