It was fun contributing reviews when you did Reader's Choice, and thanks for posting most of them before you stopped it!

Thanks so much for RTO!!, Carlo. While I didn't exactly read every review in full it was cool to see so much manga covered in each article, and it was a neat way to be reminded of titles that I may have forgotten about when they came out. Also, thanks for accepting the two Reader's Choice pieces I sent in to you in the past: B't X & Hareluya.
Good luck in whatever you do in the future, and here's hoping you won't be completely gone from ANN. |

Have really enjoyed your writing on ANN in this column, preview guide, and of course the big yearender with Theron. Best of luck with whatever's next.

Thank you for writing all these years Carlo
You helped me stay away from some series and also convinced me to pick up some new ones Although I disagreed on alot of grades you gave out, one thing I liked is you always explained why and you never gave weak reasoning Thank you again |

Oh now that's a shame. I've always enjoyed this column and discovered lots of series because of it. I hope Rebecca keeps writing lots of reviews for the site or takes over the column.

*bows* Otsukaresama desu~.
RTO has been one of my favorite columns here at ANN, I've probably followed for most of these 8 years . Thank you for all of your columns. And best wishes in your future exploits . |

I haven't read all of your columns, and hell I haven't always agreed on your thoughts, but good job running the colomn for this long and good luck towards where ever else you head. I look forward to seeing who takes over the column now.

Well, that makes me sad. I love Carlo's reviews (one of my favorite reviewers on ANN) and I have always enjoyed him helming the Right Turn Only column (one of my favorite columns). I've discovered a lot of new series because of RTO. Thanks for being a great reviewer and I wish Carlo luck with his next ventures.
Now, does this mean though that he's just retiring from the column or from ANN completely? I honestly hope not. I love seeing his opinions in the anime preview guides and the occasional anime review ( I loved his reviews of Blue Exorcist and Free!). |

Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts about so many books over the years. I picked up more than one series because it was mentioned in this column. You will be missed, and remembered.

Rebecca Silverman will be taking over RTO but the column itself will be off for a little retooling in the meantime. Look for it to relaunch in February 2014 (or possibly late January 2014).

Just wanted to join the rest of the thread in saying "Thanks for your hard work." I always thought your approach to manga reviews to be refreshing, making an effort to find something positive and negative in just about anything. It takes a truly critical and open-minded perspective to find drawbacks in the likes of Yotsuba& while finding something to praise in the latest vampire-romance bandwagon dreck that gets licensed.
You weren't completely objective (which is fine, really), but you at least provided reasons why someone might or might not like anything tha came out, and to me, that meant a lot. Anyways, thanks for your reviews and good luck in your future endeavors. |

Thanks for all your hard work!
I'll miss your reviews and insights but I wish you luck in all your future endeavors! Are you going to still be writing for the site, or are you completely done with it now? |
