Really got into this show so I'm extremely glad it got a dub and am looking forward to hearing it when my blu-ray copy gets here.

Yeah, that opening was legit.
I actually liked the show a decent bit as well, but probably mostly because it felt like something I hadn't seen all that much of in a while and it really hit the spot.

Agreed on the Kokkoku opener. It and the pretty sharp closer were easily the best parts of the series.

The ED dripped yuri when there wasn't any in the series.

I dropped this around episode six while watching when it was first released on Amazon. I just never found the characters compelling enough that I cared about their fates.

I had high hopes for this, but I dropped it pretty late into the series because I just couldn't keep going. It got so boring and dumb.

One of my favorite moments, though, is this tiny dumb thing early on where the preschool or kindergarten teacher asks the uncle (or was it brother?) to hold the little boy's hand when he picks him up and they are walking away ... one of the first times I've seen in anime indicating that people actually watch children. I thought maybe little kids in Japan were left to free range.

I'm looking at you, Clannad, with leaving a 5 year old home alone in an apartment all day long while dad goes to work ... it's not a cat, FFS!

"Time-stopping" is a favorite sci-fi concept of mine and I loved the handling of it so much it had me gloss over the faults.

Like, the review sort of complains about the manner in which the big bad guy turns out to be easier to beat than it seems he should be, but I loved that. That he didn't count on the extreme measures to keep him "all-powerful" was a great detail.
