I wouldn't mind a spiritual successor to 2D Castlevania on the Vita or 3DS, but it needs Castlevania IV mechanics (being able to whip in all directions and swing using said whip) with the slide and backflip Richter does. Also, have it take place in more areas than just the castle

The Misadventures of Tron Bonne:

Some even theorized that CAPCOM didn't want to reuse the original cast at all, since Teisel Bonne's voice actor served time for child-porn charges.

Seriously? I had no idea about that. This statement made me look it up just now to fact-check and, lo and behold, it's true. The arrest happened back in February of 2006. Just wow.

CyberConnect2:

Yep, Kemono means FURRY but with fewer nerd stigmata.

Kemono literally translated means "beast" though. The two categories have overlapped for years with both sides taking an interest in the other's artwork, so people just assume that's what the Japanese say for furries.

The interview with Matsuyama was certainly enlightening.

I also loved the snark on Humanity in Chains.

Cyberconnect2 is one of my favorite developers.

I still have hope that they will one day make a 3D animated anime series.

Heads up, Tron Bonne's on the PSN for six bucks right now, and I edited the column to reflect that. Nab it quick just in case they pull a Suikoden II and jack the price up to ten dollars.

Already finished Terra Battle, and with mainly just stock characters too (I hardly ever waste time recruiting). Same with The Last Story special. Both's final bosses finished with the minimum 2 characters left since all the other characters were predisposed. Laughing

Which exactly Teisel Bonne's voice actor served time for child-porn charges? Tesshō Genda or Robert Smith? Question

I just want to point out that this past Wednesday, as if to prove Todd's claim in last week's column wrong, Nintendo snuck out a new SNES game for the Wii U Virtual Console in the form of Namco Bandai's Metal Marines.

HA! Begone with your doomsaying, Todd!!
