My favorite this season is Kakushigoto's OP. It's simple but man does it sounds good.

A huge shoutout to Wave, Listen to me’’a opening: Aranami by Tacica, if you understand the lyrics ( search it and listen to it!), I am sure it will resonate with anyone (Anyone ) to various degree, personally I was crying over this upbeat opening, simply beautiful!

Ye! It's my absolute favorite, and one of the best I've heard in a while. So is the anime :3 My runner up is Fruits Basket s2 opening. As for Wave listen to me, I prefer the ending song, has a really good wibe to it. |

These articles are always fun, but I wish we could get a little love for the EDs. I usually fall for more of those than I do OPs. Maybe next season we could add them to the mix? Would love to hear what others have to say about it.
Right now, my favorite OPs are Fruits Basket and Kakushigoto, but I’m totally into the ED for Tower of God. I’m digging the EDs for Kakushigoto and Wave, Listen to Me, as well. |

"Altern-ate" by H-el-ical// (Gleipnir's OP) is my favorite right now. The ED is really nice, too.

GLEIPNIR, 8th son, Arte, and Kakushigoto honestly have the only songs even worth listening to

Sorry, but Shironeko Project's opening is the best by far.

Glad to see Kaguya's Opening at number 1 where it belongs. Already added it to my playlist and have been listening to pretty frequently
8th Son's opening is great, but man does it feel like it like it's attached to the wrong series (It feels like it belongs on a more dramatic series) Tsugumomo's opening from this season has been fun too Hamefura's isn't too bad either, though I mainly like the integration of classical pieces Kakushigoto's is nice as well. Once the full version is out I might add it to my playlist |

I agree with this and have always wondered why, but I feel like ops are usually crap, and eds are pretty amazing. Like if I did a top 100 songs from or used in anime I would say 85 would be ed , 10 insert songs , and maybe 5 op. I feel like other than a handful of Shonen jump songs I can't think of a show were the op is truly standout. |

As a fan of both OPs and EDs, I agree that OPs definitely get more love. I too, would like to see an ED poll.
As for my pick, the OP for Tower of God is my favorite by far. I also really like Tower of Gods ED too, second only to Ahiru no Soras (because Mamoru Miyano...I love him). |

Tower of God's OP is just an easy listening and earcatchy, easily caught my attention as the vocalist starts to sing. And I just appreciate how they smoothly play it in three different languages.
Next for me is also Kakushigoto. And probably unrelated if we only talk about the song, but Villainess' OP video is very nice to watch, showing the characters getting along with Catarina. Last edited by Dian Z on Mon May 25, 2020 7:10 am; edited 1 time in total |

How does My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom! - Ending | Bad End, not make the list?
Ah, OPs only. Ehh, it should get an honorable mention or something. It definitely deserves to be on the list of best songs of the season. |

I can give you my 5 but the order will change with the day. All of these openings are amazing and have been stuck in my head at one point or another.
Listeners Appare Ranman Kakushigoto Glepnir I almost forgot to give Sing Yesterday For Me the 6th Man Award. |

Clear tagline, good list, thanks. While I also think Tsumujikaze Op of Ascendence of a Bookworm is great, it's never been relevant what I would have picked.
