Super, super nitpicky of me, but .hack//SIGN never aired on Adult Swim. It was on Cartoon Network’s Toonami block.

Oh, damn it all, that's on me. I'm very disappointed in myself for this one because I loved .hack even if I could barely make heads or Tails of it. Thanks for the correction, we'll implement it as soon as we can. ... Jeez, I'm really losing it.

Neither of those are 'crimes'. People complain about gacha's predatory methods and the uncertainty of NFTs. I suppose these days meta humor is done to death and people are sick of it (me included) but for the time it was fun to see Toxic Crusaders take the piss out of itself and other toyetic 80s cartoons compared to all the others that played it straight like RoboCop and Rambo. It's fitting that they're cashing in on Shredder's Revenge's success given that's what the cartoon did for TMNT as well. Lloyd Kaufman always knew how to commit to the bit. |

I knew that Shredder’s Revenge would be followed with SOMETHING, but I didn’t expect it to be the Toxic Crusaders of all things. Still, knowing the folks at Troma are always down for weird promotion (Toxic Avenger once had a Broadway musical), and that a remake of Toxic Avenger is in the pipeline, this suddenly feels a bit less weird than one would expect.
Heck, Troma tried to make a Sgt. Kabukiman cartoon after Crusaders, but it was never picked up. He’d be an easy fit. |

I feel like it should be obvious here that they're crimes in a metaphorical sense, not a literal one (although maybe they should be). There's no "uncertainty" involved in NFTs; we know they're a gold brick scam. On the other hand, gacha games use psychological manipulation to get people addicted and trick them into spending more money than anybody would consciously choose to do. Neither is technically illegal (*in our countries of residence), but both are morally reprehensible. Anyway, I'm definitely a fan of the new trend of classic 80's cartoons getting beat-em-ups based on them. |

Pokemon are already NFTs. I currently have a bunch trapped in Home unable to actually use or play with them since they don't exist in any of the modern games anymore so I just have the stock photo on the app to tell me they still exist.. The true authentic ownership experience.
